AggreGate 4.11

Since version 4.11 of AggreGate software-based protection is used instead of AuthKey. Thus, there is no need to wait until hardware AuthKey is shipped - you can deploy the system immediately after purchase! Another advantage is that distributive size of both LinkServer and Client was reduced by 30%.

Home Technology Components

AggreGate is a complex multi-tier system. It includes four key components:

  • AggreGate LinkServer - the core component that is responsible for data routing and aggregation, business-rules processing, etc. This is the server-side of the system.
  • AggreGate Client - a GUI front-end application to control and monitor all other components.
  • Device Server - a communication coprocessor allowing to connect one or more devices to the LinkServer using a single network interface.
  • Data Terminal - this is a general designation for any of a wide ranges of Intelligent Devices that provide configurable settings and operations and can generate events. These are the machines you control with AggreGate.
A programmable hardware module (such as the EM1202) running the AggreGate Agent application may represent a single Device Server and, optionally, one or more Data Terminals. It the last case, the Data Terminal is not a separate hardware device. You might say it is "virtual" - just code incorporated in an application that is running in AggreGate Agent. This code may optionally communicate with several simple devices, like sensors, that are connected to AggreGate Agent.
