Dashboards are designed to built interactive data presentation views for system operators. A dashboard displays multiple dynamic components together on separate display within AggreGate Server User Interface (e.g. AggreGate Client).
In many cases, a dashboard contains multiple Widgets. Each widget represents a solid data processing/presentation unit (such as chart), while dashboard is used to group multiple units to show multiple aspects of a monitored device/resource at once.
However, dashboards may contain other modules, such as Event Logs or Query results (i.e. Data Tables).
Administering Dashboards
Two contexts are used to administer dashboards: One is the general Dashboards context, which serves as a container. The other is the Dashboard context, which holds the information for a single dashboard. |
