This section covers AggreGate Network Manager software. AggreGate Network Manager is an enterprise-grade IP network management, monitoring and supervision system based on the AggreGate core. It may be combined with other AggreGate extensions (SCADA/HMI, Building Automation, Time and Attendance, Access Control, Fleet Management, etc.) to create an integrated building control center.

AggreGate Network Manager Architecture

In the terms of AggreGate platform, AggreGate Network Manager is a set of LinkServer plugins and drivers designed to perform different network monitoring and management operations. It includes:

SNMP Device Driver for collecting various data from networked devices using Simple Network Management Protocol and receiving SNMP traps
IP Host Device Driver for monitoring servers, applications, and services
Database Device Driver for monitoring database servers and executing arbitrary SQL queries
Local File and Local Folder Device Drivers for monitoring files and folders
Device Discovery plugin for performing network discovery using SNMP, ICMP Ping, TCP port scanning and other methods
Syslog Server plugin used for collecting syslog messages from remote Linux/Unix machines
Network Management Extensions plugin that includes different alerts, reports, charts, queries, and other resources related to network management
