AggreGate Network Manager FAQ

Can I test AggreGate Network Manager in our network environment before purchase?
Yes. We offer a fully-functitonal 30-days trial license for integrating the Network Manager into your IT infrastructure management workflow.

What are the system requirements?
System requirements depend to the number of managed devices. Generic recommendations for selecting hardware for the server part of AggreGate Network Manager, the AggreGate Server, may be found here. Operators may access the system via web- or desktop-based clients running virtually any hardware and operating system.

AggreGate Network Manager runs on Windows, Linux and Mac OS.

How many devices can I monitor?
The limit is caused only by your license and hardware capabilities. Normally, a single installation of AggreGate Server may be used for monitoring up to 3000 devices. Larger networks require several servers to set up distributed monitoring.

Do I need to purchase additional plugins for monitoring different aspects of my network?
No. Commertial version of AggreGate Network Manager includes all available network monitoring and management components at no additional charge.

What about the pre-sales technical support?
We offer free email-based technical support for users of both trial and free versions of AgreGate Network Manager. You may submit your support requests here.

Should I reinstall AggreGate Network Manager and rebuild its database after purchase?
No. License activation is as simple as copying the license file into the Network Manager installation directory and restarting it. All existing data is preserved.

How does your product integrate with helpdesk, CRM and asset tracking systems?
Since the Network Manager is based on AggreGate Device Management Platform, it inherited its open-source SDK for Java and .NET, along with Web Services. These programming APIs allow bidirectional data exchange with any other enterprise system. The SDK and its technical support is included into the commercial license of AggreGate Network Manager.
